Capturing and Befriending

This is not something that I have seen on a site before, so this is something I have pulled out from my years of playing WOW and other games of the like. Each land in Destrier has animals that originate there and we offer, even encourage you to befriend or capture them.

THE DIFFERENCE.

Capturing.

^{-Capturing is easier then befriending.
-You must have a starting post in which ever land you choose with the words (CAP) after the thread name. Letting admins and Mods know that you are wanting to find an animal. A Staff member will then reply with what your character will find.
-If you do not want your character to Capture this animal, if it's too normal a color or without the modification you wanted then you must exit the post. (Max of three Open Capturing threads at once, Make sure you close your threads!)
-Though if you do want the animal then your next reply will be somehow you connecting with the animal, weather it be your soul connecting with the animals or something ells.
-In reply to this an admin will roll a dice and if it is odd then the Capture will be a succes. If even then your capture has failed for you to try again.
-You may only post one capture thread a day, if you finish the thread that day then you may post the next. The one thread a day depends on when your first post has been made. If you do not get a reply the same day by a Staff member then you may post the next day with another capturing thread. A limit of three open threads is what you can post on top of each other.
-Each post MUST follow the minimum word count of 300.
-MUST have 50 posts before you can capture an animal.}

Befriending

^{-Befriending can be hard but more then not it's worth it for those without 50 posts.
-You must have a starting post in which ever land you choose with the words (BEF) after the thread name. Letting admins and Mods know that you are wanting to find an animal. A Staff member will then reply with what your character will find.
-If you do not want your character to Capture this animal, if it's too normal a color or without the modification you wanted then you must exit the post before starting another.
-Though if you do want the animal then your next reply will be somehow you connecting with the animal, weather it be your soul connecting with the animals or something ells.
-In reply to this an admin will roll two dice. The Dice must be the same number, 1,1 or 2,2 or 3,3 and so on. If they are not the same number then the capture is not a success.
-You may only post one Befriend thread a day, if you finish the thread that day then you may post the next. The one thread a day depends on when your first post has been made. If you do not get a reply the same day by a Staff member then I would suggest you messaging the admin or a staff member. A limit of ONE open.
-Each post MUST follow the minimum word count of 300.
-Can Befriend animals at 1 Post count.}

BREEDING
^{-Why YES! Breeding your little creatures is available.
-Must have at least 6 Creatures caught in order to start your breeding area.
-MAY NOT breed to your own Creatures, meaning you may not have a male and female breed together if they are both yours. Then how do we breed them you ask? You find someone ells who has the male to your female or the female to your male.
-Results will be released 3 days from your successful breeding with a staff posting what the babies will look like.
-The results of the offspring for which owner they will return to depends on both participating parties before the breeding takes place. What is done to the offspring afterwards is not the others responsibility unless stated.
-A pair can only breed ONCE a month. Meaning you can not breed the same male and female more then once every thirty days. You may breed your male or female to a different male or female though.}

Questions and Answers

<sup>Q. How many animals can my equine capture or befriend?
A. 2 animals before 50 posts.
6 animals before 100 posts
For more then 6 animals you must buy the items from the store.

Q. Is this just for one horse or all of them?
A. You did the dirty work, all of them. Meaning you may have 2 animals one character one and 2 animals on character 2 even without having more then 50 posts.

Q. Where do all the animals go?
A. That is up to you. You MUST keep track of the animals somewhere, in a character log or something. But in Character if you want them with you then you must rp with them. If you don't want them in that posts then you can store them in your 'soul' meaning they do not have substance or a physical form but they are within you. You know they are there but no one ells does. Your soul is like a land for them. They do not need to eat or sleep while they are within you.

Q. I can't breed because no one has the opposite gender!
A. We then encourage you to encourage others to go and befriend of capture their own to make little babies with yours.

Q. Why should I breed? It sounds too complicated.
A. There are a limited set of 'wild' colors, mutations and Creatures BUT with breeding interesting colors, mutations and more can occur. A breeding pair of Bighorned Sheep could very well throw a Dragon!

Q. Can I buy Creatures from the store?
A. No, Creatures can only be obtained through Capture, Befriend or Breeding. You may sell your own Creatures though in the Auction House. Some special events like competitions and missions may offer limited time Creatures though, so keep an eye open.
