The Northern Lands cling to winter longer than any of the other territories. Long into spring a thin blanket of snow covers the terrain while you still awake to frost on your breath. The warm seasons are short and don't reach higher than Ninety Five degrees very often. The sleeping seasons is a long and brutal one here in the mountainous terrain, not many can bear the cold unless from a hearty and thick coated heritage. Many fire elemental's have been born here due to natures selection, if you can keep warm that is the first step to survival in these frigid times. Frozen Forest is just along the outer range of Norte, bordering Eastrons high Temperatures. Due to this, the forest warms into spring and summer faster then the other Northern Lands. The Frozen Forest is a place to go for nourishment in the warmer seasons, but be careful because beasts like bear, wolves and large fox's dine here.
Axis Valley clutches Winter in it's grasp for the longest of all the territories. More often then not Summer is almost upon the land before it starts to warm up, while fall is almost none existent. The tree's change from green to brown in just about a week and snow falls just after not relenting till the sun fights for life once again. The land is vast in the Valley, filled with Evergreen tree's and the tracks of wild deer, elk, moose and small rodents. Nights are long and beatiful here, with star filled black skies, the moon reflects against the white snow which makes for prey to easily site predators.
Snow is year round for the tips of the mountains here, their white caps rising high into the sky as if they could touch the sun and moon. Their slop is steep and not many can climb their way upon the range, predators are few for prey are even rarer. The cloven of hoof can be found here, like the big horned sheep, the hearty breed thrive here in this winter wonderland and grow thick with the lack of competition. Through an oddity or two some have grown wings to aid in their forage for food while others have sprouted extra legs.
